Hangar K is a co-working and co-creation hub in Kortrijk. They want to provide starting businesses and scale-ups a place to grow and give the digital industry a boost. Their aim is to stimulate young graduates to get entrepreneurial, assist start-ups in their growth and let scale-ups grow on the network of the corporates.
Hangar K appealed to Remes to elaborate a rebranding. Their intention with this rebranding was to broaden their options to use on their online platforms. We created a new modernized logo and were able to provide them multiple fun gifs for online use. Additionally, we designed a T-shirt and a poster and indicated what the possibilities are with their website and social media in line with the new look and feel.
First and foremost we wanted to keep the recognizable elements in the new logo and adapted the previous logo to the wishes from our client. We modernized the logo and added some playfulness to it by integrating extra white space in the letters and curving the inside from the K. Filling up the white spaces in both As and the R made the logo more consistent. Overall, the color is a touch lighter and gives the whole a fresher look.
A fresher and more modern look will contribute to Hangar K's goals and vision. The co-creation hub now has multiple brand assets and items to express itself better online.
